  The girl working the register took my card from my hand as I went to pay. I twice requested for her not to tap the card and even shouted stop as she did exactly that. Instead of apologising she put my card on the counter and hid at the back of the store while the other two workers just watched on in silence. Poor communication skills and poor service. The coffee wasn't bad, though.

  Staff we're very rude and could not comprehend orders properly. Began an argument with myself over what I ordered telling me I was wrong. I ordered two coffees to take away and I got one take away coffee and a coffee in a mug. Didn't make sense at all.

  Coffee was good. Unfortunately the croissant was cooked in the sandwich press (as is the practise in some places these days), but it ruined the point of a light, flakey croissant.

  Suggestion - place signs along the counter to force people to order at the register. Nothing worse than lining up and waiting at the register to order, only to have someone cut the queue by ordering over the cabinets. Staff should tell these people to line up and order at the register.

  Been frequenting this Muffin Break for years, my eldest son loves the muffins, and youngest the babychino. Owner is a nice guy, and some of the staff are great, but some of the recent young casual employees look like they would rather be somewhere else - otherwise would be 5 star.
